About Camsent Impact
We provide practical support to charities, community interest companies, community organisations and social enterprises.
The business was established in 2007 and draws on extensive experience of working with organisations across the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.
Work includes funding, governance, strategy, organisational development, research, evaluation, consultation, training and practical problem solving.
My approach is straightforward. I work with you to understand what you need, help you to make sense of the options and turn ideas into practical plans that can be put into action.
How I work
I try to keep things practical, straightforward and useful.
Sometimes that means helping you work through a problem. Sometimes it means reviewing a plan, developing and idea, gathering evidence or getting ideas out of your head and onto paper.
I can challenge your thinking when that is useful, but the aim is always to help you move forward with more clarity and confidence.
Experience
I have worked with VCSE and commercial organisations for many years, from small volunteer led groups to larger established organisations.
I have been there, got the T-shirt and done the job. That has includes funding, governance, planning, research, evaluation, consultation, training, project development and delivery.
I understand the pressure and sometimes the loneliness, that come with running organisations where time, money and capacity are often tight.
Over the years I have been a chief officer, director, communications and marketing manager, volunteer and trustee. I have also run and continue to run, several businesses, so I understand the realities of making organisations work from several angles.
